The Chief Justice sentenced the, following prisoners at the Supreme Court to-day: —Herbert Blakes, theft from dwelling, breaking and entering, to six months' and 12 months’ reformative treatment . John Henry Graham, breaking, entering and theft, two years’ reformative treatment. Ernest George Hughes, theft. 18 months' imprisonment; John Joseph Corby and Alfred Clement Dunford, attempted breaking sind entering, reformative detention, (lie ■former to 18 months’ and Dunford to 12 months’ ; Thomas Joseph Lowry, theft, receiving and forgery, 21 years’ reformative treatment; Harold Oswald Hastings, carnal knowledge; three years’ probation under special conditions; Allen Down Ballon, forgery and false pretences, 18 months’ imprisonment; Robert Sawes Ballanlyne, false pretences, two years’ probation; William Charles Shirley, malting wrong statement to marriage registrar, was fined £2O.
