The typhoid epidemic is at its peak. There have been three European deaths and several others are in a dangerous condition. Over a hundred Europeans and many Indians, hut no Fijians, are affected. The Bovs’ Grammar School has been converted into a temporally hospital. Extra doctors and nurses were ordered from Australia and New Zealand.
