There was rioting on the oil fields at. Eldorado and Arkansas when a band of 200 oilfield workers marched upon a camp of 88 negroes who were engaged in the construction of a pipeline. .Several who were wounded were brought to Eldorado. It is reported that several were killed. Approximately 100 shots were exchanged. The negroes deserted the camp.
