MOTORIST PICKED UP

CARTERTON. This Day
A man named J. Cardine, a traveller for the Kaiapoi Woollen Mills, was picked up on the roadside at Cfirreville last night. Card ino was driving a high powered car and it is thought- he sustained a stroke He was found lying alongside the car and was taken to the pofice station and received medical attention, and this morning was sent to Masterton for treatment.
