THE "WOMAN ON THE JURY
A honeymoon spoilt serving on a jury in a murder trial. That is one of the many unusual situations to be found ui “The Woman on the -fury,” a lust National production. And the romance of the bride and bridegroom was nearly wrecked bv the experience. Sylvia 111-earner, the featured member of the east, and Frank .Mayo, play the roles of the New!vweds. .lust . as,, .they are about to start off on llieir wedding trip they are served with subpoenas to appear and serve on the jury which is to U-y a young girl for murdering her betrayer. The bridegroom does not relish having his honeymoon interrupted in this fashion, but his young wife, considering it a lark and eager to avail herself of her “woman’s rights." induces him to rield. Not until after she has been sworn in dul tile young bride, learn the name of the slain man, and she nearly swooned at the news., for lie had been responsible for a dark secret in her own life.
