SEIZURE OF NARCOTICS
RIG HAUL AT ROTTERDAM

A great seizureiof narcotics was made at Rotterdam. The police were informed from Antwerp that, a notorious smuggler of narcotics consigned to Rotterdam two eases enclosed in safes, probably containing narcotics. The police seized the safes in the warehouse, each weighing 1700 kilogrammes. '1 hey found boxes filled with raw opium packed between the outer and inner sides. The police also seized in another warehouse ten oases allegedly contain dyestuffs, which were found to- contain boxes of raw opium also imported in safes. Altogether about 1000 kilos of opium were seized. . One of the alleged smugglers, a Russian, living in Antwerp, has been arrested. n, .
