A well attended meeting in connection wit’ll the British and Foreign Bible Society was held in the Church of Cluisl last evening. Mr Price presided am) introduced Sister Agnes, the t ravelin;;representative of the Society, who gav a very interesting address on its \Vur!: in home and foreign lands. A good collection was taken up for the fund;-. of the Society. On the motion of it; v. Daynes, Mr W. Thorn was chosen as the lion, secretary of tlie Richmond branch, in place of Airs Nelson, who has left the district.
