APPRECIATIVE LETTER
FOB HOSPITAL TREATMENT
At the Hospital Board meeting yesterday an appreciative letter thanking tile hospital staff for the treatment his son had received was read from Mr it. H. Patou, of Hope. The letter reads:— "My boy aged 13 was in the Hospital nine weeks with infantile paralysis (the first ease), and lias come home very much better, and .1 am thankful to sav will (1 understand) quite recover. To show vou the kind of treatment lie received': He said he did not want to come home, and when he was well lie would get a- job in the Hospital. And i wish, through you. to thank the doctor, matron and all the nurses that attended him for their unremitting attention, care, and kindness. I am only sorry Chat 1 am not now in a position to make your Board a substantial recognition of my thankfulness for his sale
return. . , The chairman said the loiter reheated greai- credit on the hospital stall, and in- Imped the press would publish it in full. lie had often heard similar remarks of appreciation.
