At the Supreme Court William Robb, n young man, was arraigned an five charges that on March 10, 1924, at Mangaore, that he did steal from a postal packet, the property of the New Zealand Government; (2) at the same place steal a mail bag also the property of the Government; (3) did wilfully open the said mail bag; (4) did receive £65, part of £l3O (knowing it to have been stolen) : (5) at the same place did receive the said mail bag knowing it had been stolen. The case was the sequel to the theft of a mail hag between Arapeti and Shannon last year. Evidence on the lines of that in the lower court was given, and the case is proceeding.
