A honeymoon spent sewing on a jury in a munler trial. That is one of Ihe manv unusual situations t <j be found in ‘'The Woman mi the Jury,” a First National production. And the romance of the bride and bridegroom was nearly wrecked by the experience. Sylvia U reamer, the featured member of the <east, and Frank Mavo, play the roles iof the Newlyweds. Just as they arc .•about to start off on their wedding trip ttJiev are served with subpoenas to appear and serve on the jury which is to try a young girl for murdering her betrayer. Tlie bridegroom does not relish having bis honeymoon interrupted in this fashion, but bis young wife, cons’deving it a lark and eager to avail herself of her “woman’s rights,’’ induces hint to yield. Not until after she has been jsworn in did the young bride learn the name of the slain man. and she nearly •swooned at the news., for lie bad been responsible for a dark secret in her own life.
