INQUEST OPENED
ROTORUA, This Day
The inquest, on the victims of the Rotoina tragedy opened nl 7.50 last night before Mr L. \\ . Richards. d.P.. and a jury of four. Evidence of identification was given. The girl's father. Sydney Moors, gave evidence that his daughter was visiting an aunt nt Hastings and a letter denoted that she was well and happy. News reached him by telephone on Sunday that Mary was missing and he asked the police to investigate. The next news was on Monday at 3 p.m. of the Rotoma tragedy. The girl was on friendly terms only with Olsen, lie 'had no theory as to the cause of the act. The inquest was then adjourned sine die.
