THE CENSUS
TO BE TAKEN ON OCTOBER 15. It is intended to take the census on Sunday, October 15th, and a start will be made on Monday next with the delivery of the papers. Mr Gee, Chief Postmaster at Nelson, is the Chief Enumerator for the Waimea County, and the following sulbenumerators have been appointed : Nelson Borough (West) : G. H., H. Burt. Nelson Borough Maitai Riding: Constable G. Wade. Stoke District and South part Maitai Ridiag :> J. B. Ingram. Richmond Borough : J. B. Ingram. .Wai-iti South : H. C. Khapp. Wai-iti North : J. R, Clark. Wairriea Road District: Samuel Edward O'Hara. . Upper Moutere Road District and Moutere outlying: John Pngh. Mot-upiko South: Constable H. C. Fitzsinxmons. Mbtupiko North : William L. Bird. Wangapeka South: Hender L. Noblt. Wangapeka North : J. W. Win. Motueka South: J. C. Kir win. Motueka Borough: Walter J. Goad. Riwaka - Motueka Riding: James Greensill. In addition to the census of the ytopv lation,_ a census of poultry and also of bee-hives is to be taken' on the same date.
