He savs:—"The German? know quite well that- Transylvania will foe lost- irreparably, and that it has already been plainly determined by the occupation by the Roumanians of the entire Alt Valley from Henri-innstadt and Kronstadt to Szereda and Civil:. Germany realised that, the menace to communica<tion between Berlin and Constantinople ■was too great for her to resist. She also understands the tremendous political effect if the Roumanians conquer Transylvonia.
