COUNTER-ATTACKS REPULSED
HEAVY ARTILLERY FIRE. (Renter's Telegrams.) LONDON, Sept. 25. Sir Douglas Haig reports that smith of the Ancre three enemy -attacks west of Lesboeufs -were repulsed with. loss. Active artillery fighting continues fit many points. There have been five raids by our airmen on railway stations and enemy communications. Five hostile machines were destroyed in air fighting yesterday, and two others were broucht down damaged. Five of our machines are missing.
