ENDERS -will be received at the . above Office until 3 p.m. on Friday, the 6th October, 1916, for Debentures with coupons attached to the amount of £3OOO (Three thousand pound's) to bo issued under the authority of "The Public Health Act, 1908 " and "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913." Each Debenture -will be for the sum of One Hundred pounds repayable at the expirationi of thirty from the date of issue thereof, bearing interest at tiie rate of F've pounds per centum pier annum payable half yearly. The security offered for the Loan is a "Special Rate of One half-penny in the pound on the annual value of all rateable property in the City of Nelson*. Each tender mus* be for one or more Debentures, stating number of Debentures applied for and price offered for each Debenture, and must be marked on the outside "Tender for Debentures." Thie highest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted and the Council also reserves the right to allot to any tenderer any less number of Debentures than.' that applied for. G. A.
