WHEAT AND FLOUR SHIPMENTS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.} (Rec. Sept. 25, 9.45 am) LONDON, Sept. 24. The quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,2995.000 quarters, and for the Continent 3,160,000 quarters. Atlantic shipments are 606,000 quarters, and Pacific nil. The total shipments for Europe are 1,375,000 quarters, of. which Russia supplies 20,000, India 1156,000, Ara-entina 106,000, and Australasia 97,000. LONDON WOOL SALES. Messrs _ E. Buxton and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cable from their London agents (Messrs Sanderson, Murray .and €o.), with reference to the close of the September series of London wool sales:—"Sales closed. Compared with closing rates of last sale good greasy Merino advanced 5 per cent, inferior declined 5 to 71- per cent. and good scoured declined 5 per cent. Greasy crossbred advanced 5 per cent, but- scoured faulty Merino an-d crossbred were very irregular, and declined 10 per cent. Eleven thousand bales were held over."
