(United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 23. Ser<H. John Wood, on leave from. Hanmer, died on the Pateena en route from Lvttelton thds morning. He was unwell durino- the night, and was found dead on one of the hatches at 6 o'clock this morning. Bis next-of-kin is (Mrs M. Wood, Mornington, Dunedin.
