I (Press Association. —Copyright.) ADELAIDE, Sept. 22. In the Assembly tlhe Treasurer delivered the Budget. The year -ended with a deficit of £584,409, which, with the previous year's deficit, makes a total shortage of £864,857. The estimated revenue for the current year is £5,337,998. The 'Government will increase the land' tax to a penny in the pound and reduce the income tax exemption to £155, with exemption to men on active service, and increase the .probate aud succession duties. i ~~ ~
