Mr Braun, telegraphing" from Roumanian headquarters on the 20th, states that the 'Roumanians are beating off fierce Austro-G-erman attacks in Transylvania. A VIENNA COMMUNIQUE. LONDON, Sept. 21. A Vienna communique says: "Southeastward of Hatizig the Roumanians ■were .completely driven back. We recaptured Petroseny and Szurduk Pass." AN AUSTRIAN REPORT. LONDON, Sept. 21. A Vienna communique says:—"The enemy in the Carpathians continue to attack "with great tenacity, and gained local advantages southward of the Lutzina and the Bystritza. They were repulsed everywhere else."
