Mr Jeffries telegraphed from Athens that the situation is more serious than ever, and is drifting to a final crisis It is unlikely that France will lecognise the new Cabinet. . f • It is understood that the Russian Minister has received instructions that Russia is disinterested in the Greek Kingdom The British, attitude as eagerlyawaited in Government circles, because tney realise that Britain will cast the die. Meanwhile the Cabinet is desperately attempting to win -Allied confidence. THE NTEW CABINET. (Rec. Sept. 22, 11.25 a m.) ATUiEN'S, Sept. 21. At a prolonged- Cabinet council it was agreed that the Cabinet should; shed political pretensions and become purely administrative.
