PROGRESS OF THE SERBIANS

A French communique states: —The Serbians vigorously pressed the offensive and after fierce "fighting captured the fortified crest of Kajmackalan. There were severe Bulgar losses. Our 75's eastward of Fiorina, in the region of the Brod : dispersed a Bulgar attack supported by cavalry before it reached the Serbian lines. The Bulgaa-s still resist upon our left wing and on the heights northward of Piesoders. Our air squadron bombed Monastir. SERBIAN ADVANCE OGSF ROSNA. (Renter's Telegrams.) SALONIKA, Sept. 20. Serbian cavalry are ad'vaneino: towards Rosna.
GREAT TURNING MOVEMENT. ALLIES CLOSING C>v MONASTIR.. .Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.} LONDON, Sept. 20. Mr W. Ward Price, telegraphing from Salonika, says the Serbian, Russian, and French armies are making a great turning movement, wheeling from Fiorina north-westerly, towards Monastir. The latest report "says that the Serbs are 14 miles from Monastir. Mr W. Jefferies, telegraphing from Athens on Tuesday, says the French captured in the hills round Fiorina many prisoners and great quantities of munitions. The enemy are neeing. They are preparing trenches between Iligo marshes and Mount Barrion. ALLIES SIX MILES FROM. (MONASTIR. (Australian and N.Z.. Cable Association.) ATHENS, Sept. 20. The Allies are within six miles of Monastir, which the Bulgarians are evacuating, abandoning guns and ammunition. ITALIAN COMMUNIQUE. (Rec. Sept. 21. 2.5 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 20. An Italian comunique says : "Important Bulgar forces on the South slopes of Mount Belis attacked our advanced posts. We fell back in good order on the Doiran-Demirhessar railway.
