MEETING- OF N.Z. COUNCIL. (United Prbss Association.) . WELLINGTON, This Day. At the meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Bowling Association, Col. Collins presided, and Mr J. J. Roberts was appointed secretary. It was decided to levy 3d per head on members of affiliated clubs, which would bring in aibout £l3O per annum. The estimated expenditure varied from £125 to £l5O. The Council resolved ta hold a tournament 'his year to consist of rinks, pairs, and ■Mneles, the net profits to be devoted to patriotic purposes. ' Th? Council decided that the next tournament start on 'Bth January, with the pairs competition. A motion that a time limit be not introduced was carried but the executive were given power to curtail any game which was unduly prolonged.
