The report adds :—'"Commissioners arc convinced thai, these men possessed no arm?, except some shot ;guns a.nd odd fjea rifles and semw revolvoi's. which they willingly handed 1 to the police. We are also l satisfied that tho men do not drill. The public feeling is overwhelmingly against intenvinen:, or segregation of the men.
