Dear Sirs,—lt affords me much p-ea sure to be able to advise you of the -"•eat success I have from the 5 tons ox Rockland Basic Phosphate Manure which I purchased from you a few months ago. For many years 1 have been a laTge user of imported Superphosphates, Basic slag and various brands of New Zealand Freezing Companies' mixtures ; but I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH MARKED SUCCESS from any manures as I HAVE HAD THIS SEASON FROM YOUR BASIC PHOSPHATE, in spite of worse weather conditions than we have experienced for many vears. I used a portion of your manuie to TOP DRESS some of my GRASS LAND and the balance I used on oats. One paddock I manured and shut up for hay and despite the dry season and general bad year for grass, I had from this very old pasture a very good crop, wr> e unmanured paddocks shut up gave poor results. I manured one paddock on which I run my cows regularly and left the others. The PADDOCK WHICH WAS MANURED I SHOULD THINK PRODUCES ABOUT 25 PER CENT. MORE FEED THAN ANYOF THE UNMANURED PADDOCKS. Clovers came in a surprising manner although clover had not shown to any extent for some years. As well as™, THE GRASS SEEMED TO GROW FRESHER AND TO CONTAIN -MORE NOURISHMENT, as the cows milked better and did better when on the manured pasture. I had sufficient manure to cover halt my oat crop and for the remainder I used; a Freezing Company's special gram manure. THE OATS ON WHICH I USED THE BASIC PHOSPHATE LEFT THE OTHER OATS FAR BEHIND, AND TO SUCH A MARKED EXTENT THAT PEOPLE ASKED ME WHAT I HAD DONE TO HALF XY CROP. I am so pleased with my success with this manure that I think every farmer should know of its qualities, and to see this end, I would be pleased to give every farmer further particulars and show the actual results. I can confidently recommend Rockland Basic Phosphate, and my order for the coming season will be about 5 tons. (Signed) W. W. Livesay.

Bright-water, Feb! 9th, 1915Messrs Bisley Bros, and Co. Nelson. Dear Sirs, —We have to advice yon of our success with Rockland Basic Phosphate Manure. We purchased two tons from you, and although late in the =eason, applied a portion of it to one half of our CLOVER PADDOCK. The other half of this paddock we topdressed with Basic Slag. The difference between the two manures was most marked, and WE HAD A REALLY; WONDERFUL RESULT WITH THE \ BASIC PHOSPHATE. The portion manured with the Basic Phosphate grew ■tronger, taller, and the clover was bright green, whereas THE BASIC SLAG PORTION had a yellowish tinge, and WAS DECIDEDLY INFERIOR. We are so pleased with our success with this manure that we will use laTge Quantities during the coming season. (Signed) NEWMAN BROS. Dear Sirs, —It affords me much pleasure to be able to advise you of my success with the Rockland Basic Phosphate manure which I purchased from you last July. I used this manure on my GRAIN CROPS (OATS AND WHEAT) The paddock where this grain grew ih the poorest piece of land on any property and DURING THE FORTY YEARS I HAVE HAD THIS PLACE I HAVE NEVER HAD A CROP SO GOOD BY HALF. It is the opinion of the Farmers in this neighbourhood that my oat crop is the best in the district, and my wheat crop is exceptionally good. I HAVE TO PUT THIS SUCCESS DOWN TO YOUR BASIC PHOSPHATE.
