I THE PROPOSED INQUIRY. A SUGGESTION BY MB T. E. TAYLOR, M.P. [Paras Association.— CopsaioHT.] CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. Eegardmg tho Addington workshops inquiry, Mr T. E Taylor, M.P., has pent the following telegram to Mr J. A. Millar, Minister of Railways: "Whilst general satisfaction is expressed at your decision to hold a public instead of a Departmental inquiry into Mr Ronayne's serious charges of the dishonesty and inconipetence of officials and workmen at tho Addington railway workshops, it is evidently necessary and only just to those accused, that the General Manager's methods of control and administrative ability should also be fully inquired into. Will the order of reference be wide enough to permit of this being- don**?'' No reply has bu>n received.
