SALARIES OF STATE GOVERNORS.
A REFUSAL AT ADELAIDE.. (Press Association.— Copyeiqht.) - - (Received 9.40 a.m.) ADELAIDE, Saturday. With reference to the suggestion made to reduce the salary of future State -Governors, the State Minister of Lands says that Sir Geo, Le Hunte has informed him that a Governor coyld not- live and carry out his duties on a lower-' salary than that paid at presotttj.and he had -refused, a year's extension 'of .the position because it would mean that on the 6alary he received he would lose money.
