CENSUS STATISTICS. [Peess Association. — Copsbioht.] (Received January 29, 8.10 a.m.) NEW "iORK, Thursday. Including persons affiliated by family ties to members, whether they belong to the organisation or not, the census gives the adherents of the Roman Catholic Church in the United States at 122,474,440. The total includes tho Philippines and other Islands under the American flag and gives 14,235,451 in the United States proper. LONDON, Thursday. The New York correspondent of the "Times" cays that these statistics are useless for purposes of comparison, inasmuch as other churches enumerate their actual members.
