SEIZURE OF OPIUM.
A SYDNEY CUSTOMS HAUL. [Press Association. — Copteioht.] SYDNEY, Wednesday. ) Cutoms officers seized over 800 tins of opium, valued at between £2500 and £3000. When the steamer Empire left port this afternoon, a launch was seen ' manoeuvring in her vicinity, southward from Sydney Heads. The launch entered the Heads to-night. She was m?t by : the Customs authorities, who boarded Tier up the Harbour, seized the vessel : and arrested all on board.
