The Charles El ward arrived at Hokitika this morning, and leaves for Greymouth tomorrow morning.

The Lady Barkly makes an excursion trip to Motnekn to-morrow, leaving here at 8 a.m , and there on the return trip at 9 p.m. Should the weaher prove fine the liule Bteamer will, no doubt, be largely patronised.

The Kennfdy leaves Wellington this evening for Nelson, and proceeds to West Coast ports at 5 p.m. to-morrow.

The Murray arrived last night fom West Coast pons and sails far Opunuke and Wanganui at 6 o'clock this evening.

Tbe schooner Aspam sailed for Foxton at high water this morcing.

The Grafton « ill arrive here from West Coast ports this afternoon, and sail for Wellington end Lytielfon at 6 p.m.

Tho Wanaka left Wellington this afternoon, will arrive here tomorrow morning, and sail by the sune tide at 1130 a.m. fir Taranaki and Mauukan.

Tbe Hawea lvft Oufbnnea at 10 10 am. on Tuesday, aDd reached Taranaki Et 4 am yesterday ; landed mails, passensers, &c, and proceeded on to Nelson at 4 45 p m., arriving here at 8 a.m. to-day. She sailed for PictoD, Wellington, and Lyttelton by tbe same ti'ie at 10 a.m.

The screw steamer Kangaroo, Captain Campbell, arrived at Wellington yesterday, from Adelai ! e, after a passage of ten and a half days. She brings a cargo of flour. The Kangaroo comes down under charter to the Westport Colliery Company, to run in the Coast trade. Captai : Williams, tbe owner of the ss Woptport, is said to have two more steamers buildiDg on the Clyde for his trade.
