MAGISTRATES' COURT.

Before J. Shephard and J. Oldham, Esqs . J.J.P.] Henry Mellett charged William Lockyer, and William Lockyer charged Henry Maliett, each with assaulting the other. Mr Percy Adarna appeared for Mellett, and Mr Fell for Lockyer. After hearing evidence at considerable length, the Bench, in the case of Mellett v. Lockyer, fined the defendant £1 and' coats £1 ' 10s, and dismissed that of Lockyer v. Mellett. A. S. Collins r. Jenner.— Action to recover £17-los for interest due. Mr Percy Adams appeared for the plaintiff, for whom judgment was given witfe coats £3 4s. Adams and Kingdon v. Firth for £11 lla 83, professional charges. Judgment for I amount claimed and co3ta. Muncaster n. McCaba for £1 15 a 9d for goods supplied, &c. Mr Moore appeared for the plaintiff for whom judgment was given with costs £1 9«. Knight v. Neat. — Aetioi to receover £6 5s for rent, &c. Judgment for defendant, each party to pay his own costs. Mr Fell appeared for the plaintiff aad Mr Moore for the defendant. Winter v. Cator for £6 15s for roafc. Mr Bunny appeared for the plaintiff for whom judgment was given with costs £1 12s.
