WELLINGTON.
(Trom our own Correspondent] (By Telegraph.) Wellington, Monday night. The Government telegrams from the front to-day contain little beyond what is reported by the Association messages. It h intended to continue the arrest of all Natives not belonging to Paribaka and refusing to leave that pl«ca for their homes. They will probably not be long detained in custody, but will be marched off to their settlements by a strong escort of Constabulary. Tbe Wangauais will be the first to be dealt with and then the Waikatos. Mr Bryce is satisfied that he can now itaanage with tha Constabulary alone, their, strength being about 900. Ha will, therefore, send borne all the Volunteers this week. Tha effect of the Volunteer demonstration is deemed to have been thoroughly satisfactory in mow ways than one. Mr Dick leaves to-night by tbe Penguin for Lyttelton on his ' way to Danedin. Mr Oliver acts for him daring bis absence. ' :
