The Wellington teaaa were defeated hy seventeen runs in the cricket match yesterday against the Blenheim Btar Cl«a> which played without the assistance of the other Clubs in the district. The Wellington team w_» a very strong one, including Blacklock, Salmon, Wilis, and Edsar, a Chrfstchurch As.osiation player. The bowling and fielding of tbe Star team was grand.
