Patea, Saturday. A number of strnnge Toiirg 1 cat ires were hartgintr found a. deserted pah at Manutahi this hiorning. Ihe settlers became alarmed mid had a meeting, and seht a niounted messenger here to. telegraph to the Government for arms-. A. nuinb«r of the Woodvilie settlers came in yesterday with bag and baggage.
