Oats— There is little or no change in values ; if anything, a shade weaker. Good abort milling, 23 2d to 2s 3d per bnahel f.0.b. ; feed quality, Is lOd to 2s per bushel in Christchurch. Barley— The malting season being now nearly over, the demand has sensibly slackened, nevertheless any samples of realty prima quality would meet with purchasers at fiotn 23 9.1 to 33 6d per bushel • second quality malting is not very saleable' prices ranging between 2« 3d and 23 7dper OU3hel ; feed quality te more saleable, at from la 9J to 2s per bushel. Potatoes— Business daring the week has been insignificant, and small orders have been executed at from 27a 6d to 303 per ton f.o.b. Grass Seed— The demand ia all but over for the present. Values remain unchanged, 5a to 5s 9 J being the quotations, according to quality. Cocksfoot. 3Jd to 3fd per lb. Cheese and butter— The former is worth 3d to 3i per lb., tha latter 7d to 7sd per lb.
