Captain Edwin reported at 11.22 a.m: " Bad ■weather approaching; any direction between south-east and ea«t and north. Further fall of glass and rain after ten hours. Tides will be unusually high." The Wallace arrived from Wellington this morning, and sails for West Coast ports at *even o'clock this evening. The Charles Edward is due from the West Coast ports to morrow morning, and sails at 6 pm. same day for Wellington. The Murray is expec-.ed from Wanganui -iuia Hiicnroon, and wnr~s"arr~ToTtne vVest Coast on Sunday. Passengers for the Sounds will proceed by the Murray to Westport joining «he Kennedy there. The Remedy arrived at Wellington this morning. She leaves there to-morrow for Wanganui, Westport, and the Sounds. The Penguin sailed for Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton at 5 p.m. yesterday. She retnrns here on Tuesday morning, sailing by the same tide at 10 a.m. for Pic on, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. B.M.S. Em. ia!d trrived at Wellington from Fiji st 10 o'clock on Wednesday night, having left Sava on the 9 h instant. The Wanaka left Port Chalmers on Monday, Lyttelton on Tuesday, Wellington at 1 SO p ni. yesterday, acd Picron at 9 o'clock last nighf, arriving here at 530 a m. to day. She tails for Tarauaki and Manukau at 5 p.m.
