To the Editor of the " Evening Mail,"
Sritrr-Tbe members oi the Naval Brigade must have bad a hearty laugh at the, expense ot their gallant captain in.iaauing auch' an order as appeared iv last night's Mail (perhaps he ha*. ohtainfid legal advice.) VQa inquiry I find that his knowledge of boats is limited, aud'thatfidia'somewhat timid wheu iv the boat, aod tbis is probably tbe cause of tbe ludicrous order beingissaed; ' Sir r ife is a pity to ase such a flue boatias the Aurora locked up in tbe boat-shed when she ought to be afloat. I am informed that since Captain Drake has had command of tbe Brigade there has only been boat- drill on two or three. occasions, which, I think,' is a great sharae.'Be'eing't'be facilities which tbia harbour affords for boating.— lam, &c, ••..■•■., -, John M'Lbabt.
