London, September 8. .News is to hand from Limerick that a senoua eviction riot took place to-day between the police and people. The police succeeded in dispersing the rioters, of whom fifteen were severely wounded in the enconnter which took place. The Times to-day publishes a telegram from India stating that news has been received from Candabar that Ayonb Khan has proclaimed his intention of not proceeding with any further hostile action agaiQSt the Ameer, and that he baa invited recruits for a holy war against the English in Afghanistan.
