Passengers : Misses Crichlm, Kentoal, Mesdames Fearon, Darke, Meßsrs Corlett.Blackett, and Wastney (2). The Charles Edward arrived at Westport yesterday, and is due at Hokitika this aftersoon. The Murray Uave3 Wanganui to-night direct for West Coast ports. The Kennedy arrived at Wellington this morning, and leaves on return to-morrow evening at ten o'clock. The Wakaiii sailed for Wangamri, Wellington, and Patea last night. On her arrival at Wellington an enquiry will be held into the cause of her recent stranding on the spit at Patea. Tee Patea arrived from Patea this morning with a cargo of live slock. She sails for Wellington and Patea this afternoon. The Grafton leaves "Wellington to-morrow afternoon, will arrive here on Saturday morning, and sail at noon for Westport and Greymouth. The Taiaroa leaves Wellington at 3 o'clock this afternoon, will arrive here to-morrow morning, and . sail by the same tide at 4 p.m for Taranaki and Manukau. The Wallace lefs Wellington at 8-30 lost night, and arrived here at 10*30 am. to-day, having experienced strong northerly winds during lhe night. She sails for Wanganui at 10 o'clock to-night. The Bowen leaves Wellington for Sydney and Hong Kong to-morrow. The Wacaka left Onehunga at 11-40 a.m. on Tuesdsy, and reached Taranaki at 6 30 c.m. yesterday; landed mails, passengers, and cargo, and proceeded oa to Nelson at 11 am., arriving here at 1 o'clock this morning. Fine weather w»s experienced throughout the passage. She sailed for Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton at noon. Mr Tabuteau has purchased the brigantino Mary Bannatyne from Captain Williams, for the sum cf £1100. Captain Milltnan has been appointed to t&ke charge of her, and we believe it is iutended to keep her in the ccal trade between Greymouth and Wellington.— Post
