The Wallace sails for West Coasfc ports at 8 o'clock this evening. The Charles Edwsrd got away from Wellington this morning, will arrive here tonight, and is announced to return to Wellington to-morrow eve-nir;g. The Murray arrived at Wellington from Wanganu! this morning, leaves there for Nelson to-night, and here for Picton and Greyrnonth to-morrow evening. The Kennedy leaves Wellington for Nelson thiß evening, will arrive here to-morrow morning, aDd is announced to sail for Weit for West Coast ports the same day. The Bowen left Wellington for Lyttelton and Poit Chalmeta on Sunday afternoon. Sbf will be docked at the lattfr port. The Hawea, with ihe inward San Francisco mail, left Taranaki for Wellington direct at II o'clock last evening. She l«sves the latter port tc-morrow morning, ■will arrive here in the evening, and sail at 10 a.m. on Thursday for Pictos, Wellington, and Lyttellon. The Taiaroa arrived in harbor at 6 a.m. to-day, having left Wellington at noon yesterday, and Picton late last night. Strong southerly wieds with heavy sea were experienced while crossing the Straits. She* Bails for Picton, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dnnedia a» 6 o'clock tonight. Owing to the prevailing southerly weather several colliers bound for Wellington have been unabl' to reach their destination, and ronaequeDtly there is a, scarcity of coal there just.now. The Taiaroa could not obtain any yesterday, &nd sherefore had to get 40 tons from the Commercial wharf to-day.
