ANOTHER SMALL POX CASE IN SYDNEY.
Sydney, Sunday. Another case of small-pox iv tbe city has been repoated to the authorities to-day. The sufferer is Edward Verdtch, a native of Germany, The schooner Sophia, frora the South Sea Islands, went ashore at the Heads this morning before daybreak. All hands were saved from the wreck. Melbourne, Saturday. The vessels composing the detached squad ron and the Bacchante sailed yesterday for Sydney. After a short stay there they will proceed to Auckland. The Eoyal Princeß are now sailing in the Inconstmt. Sir Bryan O'Loughlin to-day submitted the following list of the new Ministry to his Excellency the Governor :— Sir Bryan O'Loughlin, Premier, Colonial Treasurer, and Attorney-General; Mr J. M. Graat, Chief Secretary and Minister of Education j Mr D. Gaunson, Minister of Lands ; Mr H. Bolton, Postmaster-General ; Mr T. Bent, Commissioner of Railways j Mr Young^ Minister of Mines j Mr J. H. Greaves' (solicitor), Commissioner of Trade and Customs ; Hon. J. S. Dobson, Minister of Justice. The portfolio of Works is still un« filled. The new Ministers were duly sworn in to-day.
