London, June 30. In the House of Commons to-day the Irish Land Bill was again under consideration in Committee of tee whole. An amendment making the Bill apply to existing cases, was, after a debate, carried. The Conservative membsra strongly opposed the amendment, and are much irritated at the action of the Government in agreeing to the BamG. Eviction riots hare occurred at Mitchelatown, in Couuty Cork, Ireland, which waa the scene of serious disturbances on the 28th May last. Large numbers of people assembled today to oppese the process-servers, who were being supported by the police. The latter were attacked, and in return fired upon the mob, thirty of whom were wounded. Consols remain at 100j. Bank rate of discount continues at 1J ; per cent, and market rate at 1;| per cent. New Zealand securities remain unchanged. Adelaide wheat ex warehouse 50s ; New Zealahd ex ship 475; Adelaide fbur ex warehouse 345. Australian beef tallow 35s 6J ; best mutton 373 G'j. Telegrams are to hand from Tunis announcing that hostilities have occurred at Spax, a seaport town on the Tunisian cca9t, between a detachment of French troops and the Arab tribes resident there. The troops had been despatched to quell a rising of the tribes which recently broke out in the Spax district, and on thtir landing at the port they were fired upon by the Arabs, who had gathered in force to oppose their debarkation. The troops returned the fire, which was kept up for some timej but the Arabs were finally driven back. Several on both sides were wounded, including the French Consul, who waß landing with the troops.
