June 23, schooner Reward, 41, Coffey, | from Lyttelton. — schooner Sisters, 15, Frazsr, from Haveloc_. tfATT.EI). June 23, steamer Wanaka, 276, M'GillivTsy, for Picton, Wellington, and Lyt"elton. PasßPPgera : Messrs Balmaiu, Dyson, Johns, Woodman Bunnx , Cat or (2), Mowat, Emma* Charles, John, Mary, llohaia (Natives).

The Charles Ehvard sails for West Coast ports at six o'clock tbis evening. The Kennedy arrived nt Wistport at seven o'clock this morning, and leaves for Hokitika to-night. The Murray arrived at Greymouth from Hokitika this morning, and leaves to-morrow morning for Westport and Nelson. The Wallace leaves Wellington this evening for Nelson, and will sail for Wanganui at 4 p.m. to-niorrow. The Hawea left Picton at -8 o'clock this morning, aud arrived here at 4 o'clock this afternoon. She sails for Taranaki and Mauukau by the same tide at 7 p.m. The Wanaka sailed for Picton, Wellington, and Lytteltou at 4 p.m. yesterday. She returns bere on Tuesday, sailing at 10 a.m. the same day for Southern ports. Tho Reward arrived from Lyttelton last , nigbt, after a passage of 7 dayß. She bringß » cargo of grain for Messrs Neale and Haddow. The Taranaki Herald of Tuesday last says: — Tbe s.s. Koweua is still lying on the spit at Waitara, all efforts to get her off up to the present lime having proved ineffectual. She was on the ways, and arrangements were nearly coruple'ed on Friday, wheu tho heavy rain set in, find it was deemed advisable to tfake ber off again owing to the river beiDg expected t:> have a strong freshet iv it. She ia again placed on tbe ways, and will probably be floated to-day into the river.
