LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
Wellington, Tuesday night. In the Legislative Coancil to-day a number of Bills prepared by the Statutes Revision Commission were received by Governor's message and read the first time. Mr Waterhouse moved the second reading of the Married Women's Property Protection Bill, which was carried and the Bill referred to a Select Committee.
