Arrived at New York— Ship Beatrice Havena from Auckland, sailed February 14. The total reserve in notes and bullion in the Bank of England is £14,000,030.

Consols remain at 100$.

The Bauk rate of discount remains at 2£ per cent, and the market rate at If.

Adelaide wheat, ez warehouse, 48s 6d. New Zealand wheat, 45s 6d. Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, 343. Australian tallow : beat beef, 34s 6d ; best mutton, 36s 6d.

At the wool sales to-day 11,500 bales were catalogued, aud a firm demand was again experienced. In the House of Commons, the first clause of tbe Irish Land Bill, referring to the classification of tenants, which has been under discussion since tbe 31st ult., was passed through Committee to-day, and the consideration of the second clause of the Bill has been commenced.

The Daily News to day publishes a paragraph stating that the English Government has sent a communication to the United States Government calling attention t j the nature and extent of the Fenian movement in England, and requesting that steps may bo taken to prevent operations of Fenians in America. .

Telegianis are to hand from Panama, reporting that there ia considerable discontent and consequent disorganisation among the employees' on the Canal works, and that the same are thereby being seriously impeded. The news requires conformation. J ■
