We have eufojected & sample of the abovenamed article to a rery careful chemical analysis and examination. ; The results of tha gnaiyeta, whloh are ac forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but' races of solid matter in ooluilon. It possesasß a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste, Mr East's Bekiedam Schnapps 1b a very superior article of its class, ia well purified, and io quite goauina. (Signed) H. Sir,— l hove the honor |to report for your Information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you fed me pas been submitted to a aearohing chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state' that it ii the finest Sample of Sohnappe that as yet come finder my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from any trace of iupil or other Injurious imparity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain,' always used instead of malt in the productioH of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very Smooth to the palate, and in this respect compari a favourably with other samples offered for iale. It may be advised as equally^ »uitablo for medical or economic purposed.
