May 24, steamer Wallace, 86, Scotf, from West Coast. — steamer Taiaroa, 228, M'Gee, from Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton. Passengers: Mrs and Miss Nation, Messrs Tregea, Smith, Nation, Federlee, Armstrong, and 4 in steerage. — steamer Patea, 50, Gibbons, from Patea. — cutter Planet, 12, Thorne, from Motueka. — cutter Wave, 10, Ricketts, from Maraliau. SAILED. May 24, steamer Murray, 78, Williams, for West Coast. .
The Murray sailed for West Coast ports at 8 o'clock this morning. The Lady Barkly leaves for* Golden Bay at 2 p.m. to-morrow. The Wallace arrived from West Coast ports early this morning. She saila for Wanganui at 2 p.m. to-morrow. The Patea arrived from Patea tbia morning "with a cargo of live etock. The Hero arrived at Auckland from Sydney yesterday. The Grafton leaves Wellington to-morrow night, will arrive here on Thursday morning, and sail for West Coast ports the same day. The Penguin leaves Onehunga this afternoon, will arrive here to-morrow night, and sail for Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton at 4 p.m. on Thursday, The Taiaroa left Wellington at 1.30 p in. yesterday, and reached Picton at G 30 p.m. ; sailed at 9 p.m., and arrived here at 5 a.m to-day. Fine weather was experienced across the Straits. She sails for Picton, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin at 2.30 p.m.
