The will of the late Ear! directs that the funeral should be of tho moat simple character, and that the body should be interred in his wife's vault at Hughenden. In conEequence of the continued difficulty in the way of the settlement of the TurkoGreek frontier question, the Powers have now made a proposal to the Governments of the two countries that a Convention should bo heicl under thc-ir auspices with a view to bringing about a complete and final determination of the frontier difficulty.
