Sir,— l have the honor !to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schaapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical inalysia and critical examination, the result of which enables 'me to state that it is the Finest Sample ot Schnapps that as yet come auder my notice. It has a pare fragrant odour, and is abjioiutely free from any trace of fu«il or other injurious impurity, and has evidently bean distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in thi» respect compart s favourably with other garapke offered for sale. It may ba advised as equally^ suitable for medical or economio purposes.
