It is believed they are proceeding to the Islands. •;....' Wednesday. The report of the Australian Mutual Provident Society for the past year has been i.sued. It shows that 9623 proposals for life assurance were submitted during the year, 6551 being accepted insuring £2,181,258. Tbe new premiums amount to £74,666. ' Claims have arisen on 261 policies: amounting to £111,413. The accumulated fqnds of the Society now amount to £3,379)510, being an increase of £445,713 compared with tbe previous year.
