Melbourne, Wednesday, In the Legislative Assembly this evening, a Select Committee was appointed to enquire into and report upon the Bill for the reform of the Constitution now before the House. Hi 3 Excellency the Marquis of Normanby is recovering from his attack of fever and ague, and to-day is much betterv Sidney, April 7. Parliament has been prorogued by proclamation, and without any formal ceremony. News has been received from Noumea that the Marquis De Ray's imtnigl'ants, who arrived there by tbs steamer India from Newcastle iv a destitute condition, Lave shipped for Sydney, and they are expected to arrive here in a fow days.
